Fitness trade shows are an excellent place to not only keep up to date with the latest industry news, but also to showcase your brand to others. Often our clients ask us to recommend the best events to exhibit at or attend, which is why we’ve decided to share with you our ultimate list of fitness industry trade shows you’d be a fool to miss this 2020:

THE NATIONAL RUNNING SHOW – 25/26 JANUARY

NEC, Birmingham

The award-winning National Running Show is the event for any running enthusiast. Over the course of two days you’ll hear from a range of fantastic speakers including Dean Karnazes, Sally Gunnell, Steve Cram, Jo Pavey and Lazurus Lake amongst more. The event has a whole range of experts to support your running needs. Plus, there will be over 100 of the top running brands exhibiting including our client Vibram, who will be promote their range of barefoot running shoes.

SWEAT –  20th FEBRUARY

Brick Lane, London

Sweat, which is going into its 4th year, is the event for boutique fitness, connecting forward-thinking brands, start-ups, influencers and investors. It’s a chance to hear the latest insights from this growing and influential sector of the fitness industry. We will be there to support our clients and listen to our client Ian Mullane, founder of Keepme give his thoughts on technology and AI and how it will impact the fitness industry in 2020.

FIBO – 2/3/4/5 APRIL

Koln, Germany

If you’re only going to one fitness industry event this year, then really it should be FIBO. Well worth the trip, it’s the largest fitness convention in Europe. The show brings the latest innovations in fitness from across the globe. With over 150,000 visitors and over 1,000 exhibitors, it’s a great chance to network and find out what’s new in fitness. Plus, the show has over nine different halls covering everything from functional training to wellness and beauty, to sports nutrition and everything in-between, so you’re bound to find something interesting. But make sure you have a plan! It’s very easy to show up for two full days, only to find out you’ve only seen two of the nine halls!

The Action PR team will be there in force to support some of our clients including Pulse Fitness, Auster, miha bodytec and Les Mills to name a few! Plus we’ll be checking out the latest developments in fitness.

Organised by ukactive, this event brings together thousands of leading organisations and key industry figures in the physical activity sector. The event includes an annual conference and will culminate with the annual awards ceremony.

If you can’t make it abroad to FIBO, then Elevate is your next best event. It’s the largest UK trade event for the physical activity sector and has a great line-up of over 350 speakers representing industry, policy, academia, human performance, health care and local government, sharing perspectives, ideas and the latest innovations proven to get people more active. It’s also a great chance to see the latest equipment on the market.

Once again, the Action PR team will be there to support a few of our clients who will be attending and speaking at the event.
