10 May How An Advertising Campaign Inspired People to Get Active
In the perfect world, everyone would be intrinsically motivated to exercise. Unfortunately, that is not the case. Operators need to engage consumers in ways that capture hearts and minds and inspire motivation to be active.
Advertising, of course, is a tried and tested way to get more people active, but over the last few years, and in London especially, continued proliferation of the gym market has made it increasingly harder to get noticed and achieve cut through with your campaign message.
Before we came up with this campaign for Everyone Active, we reviewed gym advertising in London and found it all to be very similar. We knew that we needed a dedicated campaign for London, which would break the mould and stand out.
Running throughout the month of January 2019, our campaign proved to be the most successful Everyone Active has ever run in London.
And we’re pretty proud of the fact it’s been shortlisted for the ukactive Marketing Campaign of the Year award too.
The winners will be announced at Active Uprising in Manchester in June.
